Grand Theft Auto V Is Getting New Music & GTAOnline Nightlife DLC!
Alongside the release of The Doomsday Heist in GTAOnline last December, Rockstar Games also released a brand-new radio station; Blonded Los Santos 97.8FM which included music from Frank Ocean, Chief Keef, Jay Z, JME and more. This Summer 2018, it looks like another major update is heading to GTAOnline with the addition of yet another radio station!
The new station (current name is not know yet) is to be released this summer alongside a rumoured Nightlife Update. The image below which first made its appearance on Instagram from one of the composers, features 4 well-known House/Techno/Electro artists; Solomun, Tale of Us, Dixon & The Black Madonna.
We can confirm that the music is definitely legit and is 100% happening due to Rockstar also posting an image themselves yesterday which includes the four artists, Summer 2018 and also a zigzag pattern. The image below is what they posted, and it’s probably the cover art of the radio station album.
Now if you look closely, the design of the zigzags also look familiar. Spotted by Yan2295 on Twitter, the design is actually the exact same of the dancefloor in Bahama Mamas in Grand Theft Auto V. With recent rumours of a Nightlife Update in the works, the new music and genres it includes, plus the design of the image above and taking into account that the interior design for the club has been developed already, the likelihood of this Nightlife Update being a thing is pretty high. What the update would include is a big guessing game, but it could share some features and feelings from GTA TBOGT.
We’re unsure on what songs will feature on the new radio station, nor when it will release or what it’s even called. Rockstar may choose to use the station Nightride FM which was orignally cut from the game, however it could be called something completely different! Stay tuned as we’ll have more news and information on the update when they get revealed, however it doesn’t look too far away.
